DESCRIPTION:Hello LVAC Members\, \n(Vea a continuación la traducción al español) \nThe Statewide Self-Determination Advisory Committee (SSDAC) is holding a Town Hall Event on Tuesday\, February 17\, 2026\, from 11:00am-1:00pm. Please see the attached flyers (in English and Spanish) for more information and the link for the event. These flyers are also available on the SSDAC webpage at https://scdd.ca.gov/ssdac/. \nAt the December 2\, 2025 SSDAC meeting\, Committee members and attendees were informed about the renewal of the SDP Waiver\, which is the application that the Department of Developmental Services must submit to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in order to obtain federal funding for the Self-Determination Program. The SSDAC has planned this Town Hall event to coincide with the public comment period for the SDP Waiver to ensure that the Department and CMS are informed about the public’s ongoing support of the program. The SSDAC invites you to come and share how the SDP has impacted the lives of you and/or your family members or clients and why continued funding of the program matters to you.
